The academic year 2006-2007 has been very eventful for the Department with several milestones dotting the calendar.
Mifrah Abid won the gold medal for topping the University of Pune in M.A. English. She won the Algaonkar Suvarna Smriti Padak for her performance in the 2005 examination. (Pictures)
Munira Lokhandwala is now DOCTOR Lokhandwala as she completed her doctorate in 2007 on ‘A study of nativization in English in five Indian novels’ from Pune University.
